Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Designer with strong front-end chops, brand sensibility, and UX awareness to help lead creative execution across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who’s as comfortable designing logos and layouts as they are diving into Mailchimp or tweaking CSS in Squarespace. You’ll collaborate closely with strategy, development, and marketing teams to create digital experiences that are thoughtful, on-brand, and conversion-minded.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Visual Design

  • Lead logo and visual identity design efforts that translate across digital platforms.
  • Produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts for web, email, and social.
  • Optimize assets for web performance and responsiveness.

UX & Web Design

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and user flows to guide intuitive web experiences.
  • Design and build websites using platforms like Squarespace and WordPress.
  • Stay current on UX best practices, web design trends, and design systems.

Email Design & Development

  • Design engaging, on-brand emails that align with marketing goals.
  • Develop responsive email templates in platforms like Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
  • Implement personalization and modular design for scalable campaigns.

Web Development & Maintenance

  • Support front-end implementation in CMS platforms (Squarespace, WordPress).
  • Collaborate with developers to QA, test, and deploy digital assets.
  • Maintain and update live sites, ensuring performance and brand consistency.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in digital design, with a portfolio that spans web, brand, and email.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and front-end tools (HTML/CSS).
  • Experience working in Squarespace, WordPress, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo.
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and UX principles.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions.
  • Obsessed (in a good way) with digital design patterns, UX trends, and system thinking.

Nice to Have

  • Comfort presenting work and articulating design decisions
  • Animation/motion design experience (Lottie, After Effects, etc.)
  • Experience with SEO tools and performance analytics, including:
    • Google Analytics for tracking user behavior and site performance
    • SEMrush or similar platforms for keyword research and optimization
    • Google Lighthouse for auditing accessibility, performance, and SEO
    • Understanding of technical SEO best practices and how design impacts rankings

This role is for someone who thinks like a designer but builds like a developer — someone who doesn’t just want to make things look good, but wants them to work beautifully too.
